note. Major cities and metropolises and short wavelength communication
Major cities and metropolises environment itself is a challenge for the shorter wavelengths used in the 5G networks, the environment made up of steel, aluminum, concrete, hardened smooth surfaces and large moving vehicles, creating reflection and interference problems, as well as radio shadow [attenuation, reflections] like mountainous areas where long and less interference-sensitive RF wavelengths with different polarization directions are used to get past obstacles, corners and tops.

Short wavelength bands [high frequencies] are also more sensitive to different materials' refractive index variations [light speed] a function which impairs the signal's coherence factor [phase shift, dispersion] and mixes the signal [photons] with itself which impairs the signal to noise ratio; for short wavelengths a very important parameter in terms of bandwidth and possible degree of coverage.

Factors that challenges and prolongs XG-systems start-up period and possible EMRate impact.
